The phenomenon of the Tricity jass group, active in 1988-2001, is primarily based on the union of outstanding and very diverse music personalities: Tymon Tymański, Mikołaj Trzaska, Leszek Możdżer, Jacek Olter and Maciej Sikała. The group is presented during its 2009 attempts to reactivate itself, which reveal the existing tensions, moments of ‘toxic equilibrium’ that enabled the band, despite all the differences, to produce an impressive output.

Filip Dzierżawski » Director and screen writer. He is a graduate of the Film Directing Department at the Film and Television Academy in Warsaw and Social Psychology at the Warsaw School of Social Psychology. He has written the script of and directed the documentary film about the supporters of Legia Football Club Fanatics (2011) and a television culture programme ‘Łossskot’. He makes music videos and television commercials. Love is his debut as a film director.
